If you do not want to receive this newsletter, please click on the un-subscribe link at the bottom of this newsletter. Otherwise please read and enjoy Waitarere Beach - Demo Thursday 10th at 5:30pm Approx 200m north from the surf club, on the beach We are holding a demonstration at Waitarere Beach with the Waitarere Beach Fishing club, who have a number of active Seahorse Kontiki users, and they are all turning up to see the new Seahorse GPS 46 in operation. The public is also welcome. We are holding the demo approx 200m along the beach, north from the Surf Club. Either drive or walk up the beach until you find us. The weather gods are promising great weather for the evening, but the fishing gods have advised the big snapper are on their way, but may not arrive until Friday morning. Our local agents, Turner Sports from Feilding, and Reel Hunters from Palmerston North will be there, and will be happy to help with any questions you may have.
Ohope Beach - Demo Saturday 12th at 2:00pm to 4:00pm At Mahy's Domain, Ohope Hunting and Fishing of Whakatane is our excellent Whatakane agent, and they are the experts as to where to fish with the Seahorse kontiki's. Hopefully they will tell me some of the better spots. We will be running the demo from 2:00pm until 4:00pm. We will be sending the Seahorse GPS out and seeing if we can get a couple of the local snapper to take home.
Mokau, Taranaki - Demo Saturday 2th at 2:00pm to 4:00pm Seaview Beach next to the Seaview Motor Camp State Highway 3. Murray Reid from the Mokau Motel, who is one of the most active Seahorse Kontiki fishermen I know, and who has caught more big snapper than I've had hot dinners, says this is the best spot to go fishing, and big heavy weights are needed to combat the local current. 3 * 30oz weights is his advice. We are doing this demo with Taranaki Hunting and Fishing, from New Plymouth, the best fishing tackle shop in town. Waihi Beach – Demo Thrusday 8th December at 5:00pm Tuna Ave, Waihi Beach RENA, the Container Ship stuck on the Astrolabe Reef north of Motiti Island, still causing problems and is currently threatening to dump more oil onto the Papamoa and Mount beaches. Papamoa beach is still closed and we cannot be certain it will open in time. We have therefore decided to move the demonstration we had booked for Papamoa Beach to Waihi Beach.
Tauranga Boat Expo The Tauranga Boat Expo was held over the weekend, and we had a lot of interest in the RTM Kayaks and the Seahorse GPS. We have decided to keep the show specials going on the kayaks for a couple more weeks, so if you are looking for a performance kayak, at a great price, call us.
We are always on the lookout for good fishing stories, reports, photos and videos of people using their Seahorse, catching fish and having fun. Send them into us, we will put them on our website and in the newsletter. Tight lines and straight sets. The Seahorse Team |
